Memoirs of a Federal Government Scientist During the Cold War

This book is about the personal experiences of a Federal Government Scientist who participated in the USA/USSR Scientific Exchange Program in 1980 during the Cold War. The descriptions portrayed are about a true life story as experienced for 21 days of travel and interaction with Russians and the KGB in Communist USSR. While the trip was ultimately successful, the Scientist seriously thought that events described could have ended up with him being arrested, not allowed to leave the country, possibly murdered and consequently not seeing his wife and children ever again!
