Valley of October

In the late 1800's, Jade Shelton, a cowboy of mild temperament, happens upon an injured man. Assisting him to the nearest town, he meets the injured man's aunt and falls deeply in love. Soon, he marries and becomes a stepfather. Jade is content living on a ranch in the foothills of the Rockies, but he is regrettably called upon to use skills unknown to his new family. Valley of October is a novel filled with romance and excruciating challenge.
