Following on from the original series, STAR TREK – THE ANIMATED SERIES sees the crew of the Starship Enterprise facing new, more elaborate adventures. Utilising 1970s state-of-the-art special effects, the animators were able to let their imaginations run unbridled in ways that could never have been realized in the live action series. There's an underwater adventure, an encounter with a giant fire-breathing two-headed dragon, and the crew gets shrunk down to 1cm. Any self-respecting Trekkie will want this in their collection.
