Sonically, "But Here We Are" channels the naivety of the Foo Fighters' 1995 debut, but with decades of maturity and depth to form the experience. It's the sound of brothers finding refuge in the music that brought them together in the first place 28 years ago. A process that was both therapeutic and a very real manifestation of the fact that life continues.
